This activity starts with children and mothers going for a walk in the forest and/or on the beach. Perhaps bring a basket, because on your walk you’ll be collecting forest and/or beach treasures (leaves, cones, flowers, rocks, shells, sticks, feathers, etc.). When you return home, bring out the paint (the more colours, the merrier), paintbrushes and paper (which can be coloured as well). Have fun painting your treasures and then turn them over, and stamp them to your paper. Gently peel away your treasure and see what creation you have made. After children and mothers are finished making their creations, exchange them with one anothter and say, Happy Mother’s Day!
