Hello! My name is Victoria and I am honoured to work with young learner on the land this year!

I am form Ontario originally and have been calling the Comox Valley home for the past three years. I like to hike, bike, kayak, climb, and walk my dog in nature in my free time. For the past few years I have been working with Outward Bound Canada and Strathcona Park Lodge as an outdoor educator in the summers.  During the winters, I have worked at preschools, education centres, and with young learners on snow at Mount Washington. I am really passionate about land based learning that is founded in curiosity and interconnectivity.

I have been volunteering and substituting with Hand-IN-Hand since I moved to the valley in 2021, intending on learning as much as I can. Needless to say, I am so pleased to join the team this year!
