Special Stick
With a little imagination, a simple stick can become just about anything you want it to be and can open a portal into imaginary worlds where you can play for hours!
1. Head out to your local forest and/or beach.
2. Find a special stick. (To keep everyone safe, we recommend that sticks not be thicker than your arm or longer than both of your arms spread out wide.)
3. What could this stick transform into?
– A magic wand?
– A tool such as a hammer, paint brush, stirring spoon, or bow
and arrow?
– Could it open a portal to another dimension?
– Does it need decorations like paint, ribbons, or beads?
4. Go ahead and use the stick as the thing you want it to be. Just be mindful of the people around you!
