Purchase a CVCS Calendar to raise funds for the Cumberland Community Forest
We have partnered with The Comox Valley Conservation Strategy, a regional conservation planning framework, initiated to stop the loss of valuable ecological areas in the Comox Valley to raise funds by selling their 5th annual 2015 Comox Valley Conservation Calendar.
Launched for the first time in 2011, the full-colour wall calendar is an informative educational tool, featuring stunning local photographs and information about local wildlife, sensitive natural areas and the many local stewardship groups working hard to protect the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Comox Valley. The calendar is a fundraising tool that local groups can use to raise money for their own activities.
This year, Hand-In-Hand Early Years Nature Program will be selling the calendars on a consignment basis to raise funds for the Cumberland Community Forest Society. The calendars sell for $15 each, where $9 goes back to the CVCS and $6 will go to the Cumberland Community Forest Society. Calendars are available for purchase through our program.
If you are interested in buying a calendar, please contact program director, Jarrett Krentzel at jarrett@hand-in-handeducation.
