Nature Duplication

This activity will get children exploring, while encouraging focus and attention to detail!

Steps:

1.Go for a wander in the forest and/or on the beach!

2. One person starts by gathering different nature treasures (a rock, a pine cone, different kinds of leaves, etc.) and laying them out in a specific pattern on a bandanna or piece of paper.

3. Give the other participants a minute to observe and memorize all of the items and their placement on the bandanna, then cover them up with another bandanna or piece of pa-per.

4. Challenge participants to search for all of the items in nature and duplicate the original arrangement

Variation: Place all nature treasures on a bandana, give participants a minute to look at them, then cover it up with another bandana and secretly remove a treasure. Remove the top bandana and ask participants to guess which treasure was removed.
