Leaves and Stick Butterfly
Head into the forest, think of butterflies, gather some leaves and create those beautiful winged creatures!
Materials needed: A small twig (about the size of a child’s finger) and a variety of leaves, as well as small flowers if you like, paint pens or acrylic paint, and glue.
Making a beautiful butterfly out of natural materials can be done many ways. Perhaps you want to paint or draw on the leaves to make patterns on the wings, or maybe you want to glue smaller leaves and flowers onto bigger leaves for wings. Get creative!
Take it even further by doing the whole butterfly life cycle out of natural materials!
