I love most things under the sun (and rain and snow)! I was previously a Manager/Nature Educator with Hand-In-Hand at Cumberland Lake, Substitue Nature Educator for a Cumberland Family Daycare, an Educational Assistant on-call with the school district, and a Lab Instructor at UVic for biology undergraduate courses. I am also a mom to two beautiful adventurous and strong-willed girls! I have spent 10 years as a Naturalist and Wilderness Guide, leading people to see grizzly bears and whales, on interpretive walks, on kayaking day tours, and taking children on multi-day canoe trips. A biologist by training, I am enthusiastic about natural history and outdoor recreation, and continue to pursue my passion to share and explore the natural world with children and adults alike.
