Karolane has worked with children and youth for over fifteen years in both one-on-one and group settings. She has extensive experience and knowledge in education, child development, early learning, human psychology, learning/behavior theory and nature led learning. She holds a BA in psychology and inclusive education, a childcare assistant certificate (ECEA), basic first aid and mental health wilderness first aid. She is working towards future admission into a teacher education program with goals to continue supporting diverse children and youth as an outdoor inclusive education teacher. 

Karolane’s work focuses on supporting positive connections through meeting individual needs in the fields of social/emotional development, outdoor and experiential learning. She has experienced how connecting with nature cultivates belonging and deepens relationship to land, each other and ultimately ourselves. Through this innate relationship, the essential magic of nature connection guides us to show up authentically within community. Karolane is passionate about fostering access to inclusive, nature led experiences for diverse learners of all ages and stages.
