nature educator

As a mother of four children, I have personally witnessed the profound impact of engaging in nature play. Two of my children were fortunate to attend Hand-in-Hand, where I observed the transformative power it had on their growth. After a decade in healthcare and dedicating my time to volunteering with kids’ sports programs, I recognized the value that early childhood experiences hold in shaping young minds. With a paramedic license and a Bachelor of Arts degree, I bring a diverse set of knowledge and skills to my role as a nature educator. Having worked with vulnerable populations I have developed essential skills in empathy, communication, and compassionate care.

On a personal level, I cherish spending time with my own children and constantly seek opportunities for personal growth. I have recently transformed my small suburban property into a productive space for growing food, embodying my passion for learning and gratitude. As a Nature Educator, my primary goal is to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can engage with nature in a way that develops resilience, adaptability, and self-confidence. These experiences equip them with invaluable skills to navigate the complexities of life with courage and perseverance. I am thrilled about this opportunity as it promises not only to nurture the growth of young minds but also to foster my own personal development and fulfillment.
