Hello! My name is Emma and I have always had a passion for working with children.
I grew up in Campbell River and have had many opportunities and experiences with babysitting. I also volunteered my summers at Camp Bob in different leadership roles throughout my teenage years.
After graduating from high school, I moved to Port Alberni where I completed my Early Childhood Education Program at North Island College in June 2021.
I then moved to Courtenay and started working in the ECE field, including at Hand-In-Hand as a substitute. One of the things I love most about HIH is the amount of time spent outdoors! I love the beautiful nature we are surrounded by and during the sunny weather in my free time I enjoy going to the lake, walking, and playing volleyball!
In January 2023, I moved back to my home town, Campbell River. I got married to my wonderful husband in August 2023 and we just recently welcomed our beautiful daughter on June 1st 2024.
I have enjoyed working at HIH throughout the years as a substitute and now I am excited to join the Campbell River Team and forest friends! I look forward to having the pleasure of meeting you all!
