Little Buds Program
Come join our Cumberland Educator, Alix Wilson for a dose of “Vitamin N” at Coal Creek Historic Park in Cumberland. Besides having plenty of time for unstructured play, we will also have fun playing games, creating art, storytelling, and working as a group to investigate a topic of interest chosen on the second day of the program. Little Buds is designed to connect children aged 5 – 9 with nature, through child-led exploration of a variety of sites, including woods, streams, meadows, and ponds, providing limitless opportunities to build relationships with the land and with friends. This 12 week program is uniquely crafted to meet the needs and interests of the group. This program runs exclusively outdoors, rain or shine.
